Join us for an hour and a half to discuss today's parenting challenges with a licensed professional counselor with over 7 years working with children utilizing Child Centered Play Therapy. Learn about tested and proven strategies, skills as well as referrals and resources for your specific situation. There will be Q/A time as well as an opportunity to hear about mental health and wellness challenges facing children today. This is a great follow-up to our summer camps for kids! July 20-23: K-2 grade
June 22-25: 3-5th grade
Utilizing games, play, expressive activities and education campers will learn about emotional intelligence, self-awareness, social skills as well as coping with common stressors. Campers will discover emotions, effective communication as well as how to empathize with the emotional needs of others. Campers will have the opportunity to implement regular practices to maintain mental/emotional/social wellness. Recover social/emotional developmental skills as well as create new ones! Cost is $89.

Care giver Support Group

Family and friends standby with willing hearts and helpful hands, yet the primary caregiver remains overtaxed and alone at crucial moments. Resources, support, understanding and knowing prayers are only a phone call away, across the room and even in the next chair. Every loved one has a unique challenge, a unique disease and a unique situation. We aim to end caregivers isolation, hopelessness and frustration.
Led by Britt Nelson: My wife has Alzheimer’s dementia. I have some education in medical science and experience in learning my way through our particular maze.
Come, let us talk together and explore how we can strengthen one another as we face this he challenges of caregiving.
