grief focused events

For people grieving the death of a family member or friend.

August 20, 2019

6:30-8:00 p.m. in Room 215 $15.00 Booklet (optional) Childcare is available, birth-6th grade.

GriefShare is a 13 week support group that meets in a small group setting to watch and discuss videos covering the steps of grief.  These videos are produced in an interesting television / magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies, and dramatic reenactments.

After viewing the video, you and the other group members will spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video and what is going on in your own lives.

During the week you will have the opportunity to use your workbook for further personal study of the grieving process and to help sort out your emotions through journaling. Your group will spend time discussing questions and comments from the workbook study.

We don't want you to have to go through the grieving process alone so please join us.  We meet at Lake Arlington Baptist Church, Room 215, from 6:30-8:00pm every Tuesday evening beginning August 20th and ending November 12th.  You can park and enter the "Main Entrance" (a covered drive) of the Worship Center. Once inside our greeters will help you find room 215.
